Payout policy

How and when creators are paid.

Version 2026-10

Draft — pending legal review. This text describes how the product works today and may change before launch.

Who can be paid

A creator is paid after identity verification is complete and a bank account in the creator's name has been verified.

When an order counts as earned

  • Paid message: when the creator replies.
  • Locked post and tip: at once.
  • Custom request: when the fan accepts the delivery, or 72 hours after delivery.
  • Service: when the creator marks it delivered with proof.

The hold

The creator's share of each order is held for 7 days after that order completes. The hold is counted per order. It exists so that a refund or a payment dispute can be settled before the money leaves.

How payouts are made

Fans pay MySpecial.App, which collects on the creator's behalf. When the hold on an order ends, the creator's share becomes payable and is paid by bank transfer to the verified bank account. The dashboard shows what is on hold, what is cleared and what has been paid, with the bank reference of each payout.

When a payout is delayed

  • After a change of bank account, payouts pause for 72 hours.
  • While a payment dispute (chargeback) on an order is open, that order's share is not paid.
  • If an order is refunded or a dispute is lost after its share was paid out, the creator owes that amount and it is recovered from the next payout.
